In order to strengthen the direct contact with all enterprises, to provide the better service for national economy, CVS will cultivate corporate members according to the constitution of CVS.
- The corporate members of CVS should be the enterprises those are engaged in vacuum field with a certain number of science and technology staff. As a corporate member, your enterprise should take part in the society-related activities and support the society work. The corporate members should be enterprises or groups founded legally (including Research Center and Laboratory of the Department of an university). Members of the executive council are the corporate members of CVS.
- If your enterprise wants to join CVS, you should provide a written application (fill the application form of CVS), the business license and the corporate code certification (duplicate copy) to the office of CVS. Your enterprise will become the member of CVS after approved by executive council of CVS.

- Have the right to vote and to be voted.
- Have a priority right to join in the society-related activities.
- Have the right to give advice and supervision to the CVS work.
- Have the privilege of getting the journal of CVS and the information about vacuum science and technology.
- Have the priority of asking for the technical advice and service of relative information.
- Can entrust the activities of technical appraisement, technical train and technical exchange to CVS.
- Membership duties
- Have to obey the constitution of CVS.
- Have to carry out the decision of CVS, to safeguard the legal right of CVS and to finish the work entrusted by CVS.
- Take actively part in the academic discussion and science and technology exhibition held by CVS. Write academic thesis and article.
- Give some relative information to CVS. Inform the change in the name of corporation, mailing address and man in charge as soon as possible.
- Pay the membership fee on time.
- Membership Fee
- Pay the membership fee every year or pay it for several years once only.
- Annual fee for corporate member is RMB 1000 per year (US$ 125 per year)
- Annual fee for corporate member of executive council is RMB 1500 per year (US$ 187.5 per year)
- Corporate members have the right to secede from CVS. Corporate members will be dismissed from CVS if they haven¡¯t paid the membership fee for two years. Corporate members whose actions seriously infringe the constitution will be expelled upon being decided by vote by the executive council.
- The technician of the corporate members should apply for the membership in accordance with the constitution if he wants to be the personal member of CVS. They will not be the personal member of CVS by nature.
